Out and about at Royal Sydney Botanic Garden
(14 December 2017) If you haven’t visited this expansive and historical garden before, or it’s been a while, the Royal Sydney Botanic Garden is a fabulous day or three out. Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, named best Major Tourist Attraction of the year at the recent NSW Tourism awards, is full of plants, gardens, views, landscape marvels, and more. Established in 1816 and covering 30 hectares with exceptional views of Sydney harbour and the city, the garden is a rich insight into Australia’s recent plant and garden history, and also its indigenous significance, past and present. There are regular tours, educational opportunities, and exhibitions held throughout the year. For more: https://www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/about |
