Grevillea iaspicula (14 August 2014) Grevillea iaspicula, the rare and endangered Wee Jasper Spider Flower, is a moderate to fast growing shrub, hardy to Canberra and surround’s climate and soils. This lovely plant boasts a long flowering season, from late winter and beyond, and is subsequently a real draw card for wildlife including beneficial insects and birds. Grevillea iaspicula reaches a height and width of approximately 1.5m, and can easily be kept smaller with a good prune every now and then. It tolerates full sun to partly shaded positions and is hardy to dry conditions once established. This versatile shrub is an attractive addition to any garden and well worth preserving. |
